Decosha Huffman

Decosha, aka D, has been a Certified Recovery Support Specialist for 6 years, and joined AMPSS in February 2024. Decosha currently works as a Recovery Support Specialist for Weems Mental Health (Region 10), in Meridian since September 2017. She works primarily with individuals with substance use disorders. Decosha empowers and motivates others to become productive members of society. 

Decosha has a passion and empathy for her job as a Peer Support Specialist. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Business and is pursuing her career in gaining her Master's in Business, with the purpose of owning a Recovery Support House for men, women and families.
